Mystery Diners Mark and Paula headed to
Sir Benedict's
Restaurant at 805 East Superior Street near
downtown Duluth, Minnesota. It is just two blocks from (you guessed it) London Road! Customers keep coming back to this place for live music and good food with an English twist. |
This first weekend in May every year is a gathering for music
people. They put on live performances throughout town. The Aerial Bridge is a good photo spot for photographers to shoot wedding photos too. It is a common sight. |
Paula was busy checking the water's edge for agates and glass that has been polished by sand and wave action over the years. |
Mark and Paula were impressed by
Bellisio's
Italian Restaurant that night. One of the chef's came out to be photographed with the famous couple. Mama mia, they serve rich food! Dieting will have to wait until tomorrow. |
More music, this time at the
Amazing
Grace Cafe.
The musicians played and sang their hearts out. |
|
Some of the performers are too young to drink. They really live for this opportunity to play. |
Mark and Paula stayed at the
South Pier Inn
when visiting Duluth. This comfortable place is right next to the
Aerial Bridge. That night they saw a ship at anchor just outside the Duluth harbor. She was carrying blades for wind turbines. There was a nearby fisherman trying to catch fish for dinner. No word on how he did. |

Quote of the day: Duluth is a fun city. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
