Mark and Paula headed for the
Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area near Crosby, Minnesota.
There is an overlook where visitors can see a lake and the newly-built major
jumping off spot for bicyclists.

Many families use this area for fitness and fun.

The red is from iron in the ground.
Most of the iron ore was mined many years ago, but the red remains.

This has been a dry spring so there isn't much green showing.
All that is needed is some rain.
Note the red tires on the bikes. Same thing for cars on the unpaved roads
in the area.
Paula will be SCUBA diving near here beginning in May. The water will be
cold, but she will do it anyway.
