Mark and Paula's cat Josie passed away peacefully today at age 15.  It was old age.  She came into Mark and Paula's lives at the age of one year from HART (Heartland Animal Rescue Team) in Brainerd/Baxter, Minnesota.  More info at: https://www.zumalka.com/blogs/blog-pet-health/adopt-a-pet-ultimate-guide

Josie kept Gilbert Lodge rodent-free for many years.  She loved to be outdoors to see the world.  Josie brought much joy, especially to Paula.  Many fond memories.

Graveside services were held March 30, 2015 at 10 AM on an overcast day with mild temperatures.  Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.  There was a tearful goodbye.  The sun came out afterward. 

Josie is in Kitty Heaven and likely comparing notes with previous family cats.
