         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, January 23, 2015:  The Dynamic Duo was on the road to Orlando, Florida, and said, "Let's stop here."
 
They checked into Walt Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Unique wrist bands are used as keys for hotel doors and prepaid exhibits.

Two monorail trains run through the complex on a frequent basis.

Nicely done towels on a bed.  Mickey is everywhere.
 
The interior of the Contemporary is awe-inspiring.

Lots to see everywhere you look.

 
The hotel is on Lake Buena Vista where Disney boats take guests around.

There is an evening light show on the lake too.  Very well done.

 
This is the interior of the Grand Floridian, just one of the Disney resort hotels.  It, and the other nearby resorts, are linked to Disney theme parks by bus, boat, and monorail trains.
 
Disney Village is a shopping and entertainment area for everyone.
 

Lego and Tinker Toys were there too.

There is something everywhere you look.
This lad was trying to avoid getting wet while sprinting across an area where water spouts randomly from the paving.

Paula enjoyed seeing her friends Walt Disney and Minnie Mouse.
Dinner that evening was at the California Grill, which is located atop the Disney Contemporary Hotel.

Wonderful staff and service.  They must be well trained and motivated.  It shows.
Dinner was noting less than you would expect.

Excellent food and view.
Disney's Magic Kingdom could be plainly seen from the Contemporary Resort roof after dark.
 
Then, the fireworks started and it was spectacular.
