         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, December 5, 2014:
The annual SCUBA Dive Party was held at Gilbert Lodge.
 
Deep Diver Paula and Scuba Leslie caught up on the latest in their lives.
This year, there were three boxes of Gilbert Lodge wine.

Gilbert Red, Gilbert White #1, and Gilbert White #2.

Red is from southern vineyards at Gilbert Lodge while the white comes from northern vineyards.
Lots of diving stories...some of them true!

There was also plenty of good food and conversation.
Chef Paula made her famous pepperoni pizza from scratch.  Karen Block brought a gluten-free pizza.
 
Plenty of cookies for dessert.

Mark read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" in front of the Grand Fireplace.

It was a real crowd pleaser.
Imagine, that, Dave Ostrowski brought cookies in the shape of fish.

Very appropriate for SCUBA divers.

Plenty of stories were told about how big the fish were this summer at the mine pits near Crosby, Minnesota.

Some were exaggerated a bit!

More cookies.

Yes, it was a fun time with lots of laughing.
