Wednesday, November 26, 2014:

Thanksgiving is just a day away and Chef Paula is busy in the Gilbert Lodge Galley preparing turkey dressing. 

She makes it from scratch on HER stovetop, not from a box.

This is a bit labor-intensive, but the results are worth the effort.

Paula puts many ingredients together including celery, onion, sausage, walnuts, sage, and a number of special spices.

Yes, the dressing is always a hit at Thanksgiving.

Finally the dressing was mixed together and put in a refrigerator overnight. 

It will be heated in a roaster on Thanksgiving day, just before Thanksgiving dinner.
