Monday, November 10, 2014:
 
The first snow of the season arrived. 
Some 6.4 inches was measured at Gilbert Lodge. 
That is the equivalent of 0.55 inches of rain.
A bench for quiet meditation is now snow covered, probably for the winter.  However, it is warm inside the Lodge.
 
 
Yes, the snow is on the ground to stay for the season and the temperatures are dipping to near zero. 
Welcome to Minnesota.
