         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, July 4, 2014:  It was the 30th annual Fourth of July celebration at the lake home of Jack and Candy Scott near Garrison, Minnesota. 
 
They hosted about 15 relatives and friends with great food and conversation.

 Then it was time for the annual boat parade on Borden Lake. 
Lots of good entries and cheering.
 
Jack had to rest after all of that excitement.
 
Then Paula instigated the egg throwing event.  Watch out so you don't get egg on your face!
 
It was a true American fourth of July celebration.
 
Mark and Paula stopped at Garrison Sports on the way home to Brainerd and discovered two happy fisher people.
They caught these fish in Mille Lacs lake.  Not bad! 
 
The Dynamic Duo couldn't go through Garrison without stopping for a photo with the big fish.
Paula, how large was that fish you caught last summer?
