Friday July 4, 2014:   Brainerd has one of the best Fourth of July Celebrations in outstate Minnesota.
Thousands gathered near the Brainerd High School while a few flew overhead at sunset waiting for the fireworks to begin. 
 
A half-moon shown brightly as did the famous concrete water tower in the heart of Brainerd.
 
 
Plenty of sparklers for the young ones before the aerial fireworks started.
 
 
The crowd loved it.
 
 
Very nicely done fireworks.
 
 
They even looked good from the water tower some seven blocks away.
