Friday,
May 2, 2014:
Mark and Paula traveled up the north shore of Lake Superior. Yes, there was still some lake ice crashing onto the shoreline. |
|
Paula enjoyed seeing the waterfalls at
Gooseberry Falls State Park. The water is brown because of soil being drawn downstream especially at this time of year. |
There are multiple falls with mist rising. In the end, the water flows into Lake Superior. |
|
Plenty of turns along with way too. Water rushes to the lake in the spring.
|
|
Another view of the lower falls crashing onto
water below. The amount of water flowing at this time is year is huge. |
|
Then there was the sign telling visitors to
hang onto their children. Paula tells others that Mark is only 3-1/2 years old. Many believe her! |
Quote of the day: Gooseberry should be visited at least once a year. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
