The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Friday, May 2, 2014:

Mark and Paula traveled up the north shore of Lake Superior.

Yes, there was still some lake ice crashing onto the shoreline.

Paula enjoyed seeing the waterfalls at Gooseberry Falls State Park.

The water is brown because of soil being drawn downstream especially at this time of year.

There are multiple falls with mist rising.

In the end, the water flows into Lake Superior.

Plenty of turns along with way too.

Water rushes to the lake in the spring.

Another view of the lower falls crashing onto water below.

The amount of water flowing at this time is year is huge.

Then there was the sign telling visitors to hang onto their children.

Paula tells others that Mark is only 3-1/2 years old.

Many believe her!

Quote of the day:  Gooseberry should be visited at least once a year.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
