Brainerd's famous concrete water tower at the intersection of Washington and south 6th Streets. Built over a four year period from 1919 to 1922, it was the first all-concrete water tower used by a city in the United States. It can hold 300,000 gallons of water and is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. |

At 134 feet, plus the flag poles, it has been standing tall for
almost 100 years. The moon showed its admiration by shining over the water tower. |
