Thursday, November 14, 2013: 
Tower climber Mark was atop the 64-foot communications tower at Gilbert Lodge.
He snapped this photo while putting up the five-foot Christmas star.
 
 
Ground crew Paula was nearer to Island Drive keeping strings of lights from being tangled.
Stay tuned for when the Christmas lights come on.
 
A crew from the Brainerd City Water and Light Department was at City Hall putting up holiday lights too.
 
 
Yes, getting it just right is important.
 
 
Thanksgiving evening the lights looked great.
