Chef Paula was busy in the Gilbert
Lodge Galley trying a
new recipe. It was pizza pockets using turkey pepperoni and Pillsbury Doughboy pastry as the crust. Marinara sauce sauce was used along with Mozzarella cheese, which was freshly shredded for the occasion. |

Then the pockets were folded and held together by pushing a fork into the edges. Did you notice the shirt that Paula was wearing? It was from a visit to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. |

They looked and tasted great after
coming out of an oven. There goes the diet! |

|
Then Mark and Paula were out in the
Minnow on Gilbert Lake
and saw a powered glider. Ah, to soar like a bird! |

|
Speaking of birds, they saw Canadian
Geese headed south for the winter. Is is that time of year already? |
|
|
A golden sunset glistened across the
water of Gilbert Lake that night. Boats await another day on the lake. |
