Sunday, May 12, 2013: There was STILL some snow
hiding under pine needles. When will it learn that spring has arrived? The first boat of the season was spotted in Gilbert Lake on Saturday. |
|
Paula was out picking up tree branches that fell
during the winter and recent high wind day on Saturday. Good exercise, Paula. |
|
Then it was off to the fire ring where Firebug
Paula burned the stuff. She really enjoys this activity. Came in smelling like smoke too! |
|
Paula spent some time at
Landsburg
Landscape Nursery, just north of Brainerd. She can't resist buying something while there. |
|
Yes, it was Mother's
Day.
Mark visited his mom June. She is 96, almost 97, and doing well. June and Mark were in a hospital at the same time 66 years ago (when Mark was born). Mark and Paula brought June some Double Chocolate Devotion cup cakes from the Cold Stone Creamery. Well, so much for their diets! |
|
Canada Goose. They are often seen in the
Northland.
The weather is just fine for them. |
Quote of the day: Spring is here. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
