Thursday,
April 4, 2013:
Chef Paula was prepared a tuna salad with eggs on top of a bed of lettuce. Good for those trying to loose weight. Pompeian Red Wine Vinegar was used to add spice to the dish. |

Dessert that night made up for the lack of calories.
It was peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream from neighbors Dave and Jean Schaeffer. Jean is a wonderful cook too and great entertainer. |

That night there was a power outage that affected at
least one square block of downtown Brainerd. A crew from Brainerd Public Utilities showed up to replace a fuse at an overhead transformer station, which remedied the problem. The outage did not affect Gilbert Lodge. |
