Chef Paula

 
Thursday, April 4, 2013:  

Chef Paula was prepared a tuna salad with eggs on top of a bed of lettuce.

Good for those trying to loose weight.  Pompeian Red Wine Vinegar was used to add spice to the dish. 

 

Dessert that night made up for the lack of calories. 

It was peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream from neighbors Dave and Jean Schaeffer. 

Jean is a wonderful cook too and great entertainer. 


 

That night there was a power outage that affected at least one square block of downtown Brainerd.

A crew from Brainerd Public Utilities showed up to replace a fuse at an overhead transformer station, which remedied the problem.

The outage did not affect Gilbert Lodge.
