Sunday,
March 31, 2013:
Chef Paula was busy in the Galley preparing a traditional Easter dinner. Lots of cheddar cheese on potatoes with sour cream. Yum. |
A spiral-cut ham was the main attraction. Paula wore her "kitty" apron while cooking. |
Red wine was served that day. |
There was a fire in the Grand Fireplace to warm the heart on a blustery 30 degree day. |
Paula put a glaze on the ham about half way through the cooking process. |
She poured a good tasting sauce on asparagus too. What won't she think of next! |
There was plenty to serve when the time was right. |
Easter dinner was fit for a king. |
Dessert was angel food cake with strawberries and
whipped cream mixed with vanilla and powdered sugar. The strawberries are a combination of fresh and frozen because the frozen has a nice juice to go with it. Easter is a wonderful time of year. |
Quote of the day: The Easter message if important for all of us. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
