The U. S. Army Signal Corps was kept busy sending telegraph messages to keep President Lincoln and troop commanders in touch. |

There was another Civil War battle.
Loud cannons and gunshots filled the air. |

The Union troops had their act together that day and were on the
offensive.
It wasn't long before they won a battle. |

Yes, it was a Union victory on the way to winning the Civil War and reuniting the nation. |
