         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Saturday, July 21, 2012:  The 20th Annual Relay for Life in Brainerd drew a good crowd. 

The goal was to raise money for cancer research and recognize those who have died from or survived cancer.
One of the many volunteer organizations helping was the Brainerd Rotary Club, of which Paula is a member and Past President.
The event was held at Don Adamson Field at the Brainerd High School
The grand stands were marked.

The weather was a perfect 80 degrees with a light breeze.
Many people walked as a part of this fund raiser. 

These people were cancer survivors. 

They were cheered as they went.
Balloons were released after the survivor walk.
