         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Friday, May 18, 2012:  Mark and Paula were off to Minneapolis and St. Paul.  They weren't 75 miles down the road, at the Clearwater Travel Plaza, when Paula had to stop for a huge chocolate covered pastry.  Chocolate is her favorite.

Then it was off to the Convention Grill in Edina, Minnesota where the cooks prepare the best hamburgers of 1950's style.
They asked to share a half-order of fries, but they got more than they could eat.  Great stuff.

Paula ordered Lime Phosphate.  Very interesting.
Finally they headed to Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis.  It is a part of the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway.  Not a bad place where you can see the sky scrapers of downtown in the distance. 

Mark and Paula walked around the lake (3.2 miles) in just over an hour.  With tired feet, they retreated to the car.
