         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Thursday, February 23, 2012:  Paula left for a SCUBA diving trip to Roatan, which is an island off of Honduras.  Near the equator, it is between Mexico and South America.  Temperatures there recently have been hovering around 75 to 85 degrees.  It is a far cry from winter weather in Minnesota, as evidenced by snow in the background. 

The dive trip was with about 17 other divers from Minnesota and was coordinated by the Minnesota School of Diving.  She will be staying at Posada Las Orquideas.

Comment of the day:  Hopefully Paula will send back photos and stories while she is there.  We understand from other travelers that the hotel has electricity for just part of the day and Internet access is iffy as well.
