         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Monday, December 5, 2011:  There was an open house Christmas party at the Birchwood addition of Samaritan Woodland Acres in Brainerd.  It is a retirement home and a band was there with plenty of good old-time music.
This lady just loved hearing the music.
Mark's mother June lives there and was delighted when Santa showed up to discuss Christmas gifts. 

June pulled his beard to determine if he was the REAL Santa.  Yes, he was...no fake here.
One of the party attendees plays piano so he sat and played with the band.  It worked out very well.
Paula was there helping to pass out desserts after the meal.  She promised everyone that calories don't count during a Christmas party.

Mark was there to take a photo and couldn't pass up the chance to get himself in the photo even if it was by way of a mirror.
