Saturday,
October 1, 2011: Some 41 amateur photographers gathered in Brainerd to
participate in an annual photo walk. It was a part of
Worldwide Photo Walk.
Mark was one of them on that clear day. He found a few places to capture images for this website and for the event. This one is the Crow Wing County Courthouse in downtown Brainerd. |
Now isn't that interesting. These two were atop a truck full of pumpkins for sale at a farmer's market. |
Yes, there was corn to go with the pumpkins too. |
Tomatoes had a good growing season. |
Preserves of all kinds were for sale as well. This lady's husband is a lucky guy to be married to her. |
Evergreen Cemetery has a seldom used road going by the graves. |
The bronze statue of a World War I soldier stood by that day. |
Some of the trees were quite colorful near the graves. |
This is Brainerd's original water tower dating back about 100 years. It is on the U. S. National Register of Historic Places. |
Then there is the current water tower which was built in 1960. |
A bronze statue of a fireman stands in front of the Brainerd Fire Department building on Laurel Street on the east side of the Mississippi River. |
Quote of the day: It was an interesting and challenging day. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
