         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Sunday, July 17, 2011:  Tom Lingwall, a second cousin to Paula, celebrated his 65th birthday at the home of Marilyn Kreiner at Aitkin, Minnesota.  Marilyn is a cake specialists and it shows from what she made for this occasion.  The eatable photo is from Tom's graduation in 1965.
It was a few years ago when Mark photographed Tom and his younger brother Darrold in front of the auto parts/auto repair shop in Garrison, MN.  The two sold the shop and retired on January 1, 2011.  So far, it has been a good change for them.     
Marilyn had plenty to eat.  Mark liked the extra sharp cheddar cheese that was served that day. 
Tom posed with his cake before it was devoured by the guests.  Who could pass up a birthday cake like that?

Tom, "You haven't changed much in 47 years."
Chef Paula was one of those who dug into the extra good treat.  With ice cream, it couldn't be beat.
