August 13, 2010:  Paula went diving at the mine pit Feigh to a site we call Downaways because it is a killer hill getting down to the pit.  But the trip was worth it for all the fish we saw.  This bass nearly smiled for the camera.

Another bass wanting to check us out.  Lots of sun fish at this site however they were not photogenic Wednesday night.

We took a tour of some of the mine pits to show a diver from Atlanta what the pits look like from above.

A closer look at some of the foliage which surrounds the mine pits.  These pits were actually working mines as late as the 1970's.  They quit pumping them out and they naturally filled with water and are beautiful now.
