         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

July 3, 2010: It is the annual Arts in the Park in Brainerd, MN.  The location is Gregory Park just two blocks north of the famous concrete water tower in downtown Brainerd.  You can see the water tower in the background.

Paula was looking for just the right pieces to decorate Gilbert Lodge.

She ran across Paul Imholt who was playing a hammered dulcimer.

He plays it wit wooden "hammers."  Being a steel stringed instrument, it sounds something like a piano.

Mark was off to see the antique cars.  This one is a 1960 Plymouth Fury towing a 1959 Herters Flying Fish boat with a 40 horsepower Mercury outboard motor.
