The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

To answer the burning question in the last episode of the dynamic duo, they chose both chocolates and took them back to share with friends in Brainerd, MN.

May 20, 2010:  Mark and Paula started the day with eggs wrapped with bacon cooked in a muffin tin at the Colonial House Inn at St. Ignase, Michigan.  The breakfast included ham and English muffin with preserves from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Great stuff.

They traveled along the north shore of Lake Michigan seeing natural wonders along the way.

Canadian Geese have returned for the summer and are loving it.

Paula and Mark stopped at the Swedish Pantry Restaurant in Escanaba, Michigan, and enjoyed a great lunch.  Mark is three-quarters Swedish and really appreciated this.  His lunch was the Swedish Sampler, which included Swedish meat balls, Swedish sausage, a potato dumpling, and rutabaga.  It doesn't get any better that that for a Swede.  Paula had a bowl of ham and bean soup.

There is another sign post up ahead!  What adventure will the dynamic duo face in the upcoming day?  Only time will tell.  Stay tuned!

Quote of the day:  You never know what fine dining Mark and Paula will discover.  Mark
