May 2, 2010:  Mark and Paula went up the north shore of Lake Superior from Duluth, MN, and stopped at the French River.

Paula decided to get a photo of the water and got one leg wet up to the knee.  The things photographers do for their hobby.

Paula was photographing some fish right near the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Fishery on the river.  Fishing was not allowed at that time because it is spawning season for trout.

Later, they traveled to Gooseberry Falls State Park to see the falls.

Fishing was allowed there and an avid angler was trying his luck.
