May 18, 2010: You might remember from the previous episode of this serial thriller with Mark and Paula Persons, that the dynamic duo was just entering St. Ignace,(saint ig'-nas) Michigan. They pulled into the Colonial House Inn on State Street facing lake Huron. The inn was built in the 1830s and expanded in 1860. That was before the American Civil War and harkens back to the time of President Abraham Lincoln. No, Lincoln never slept here, but it is that old. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
Inn hosts Mike and Chris were there to greet Mark and Paula.. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
That night, sunset on the Lake Michigan side of the Mackanac Bridge looked very interesting. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
The Mackinac Bridge looked great in the night with its lights reflecting off the calm water. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
May 19, 2010: In the morning, a ferry boat came to pick up Mark and Paula just across the street from the Inn. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
The pilot was very experienced and was determined to take us somewhere. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
From the Lake Huron side, the Mackinac Bridge looked good. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
They were headed someplace....but where? Stay tuned for the next exciting episode in the life and times of Mark and Paula Persons as the plot thickens. Click on the photo for a larger view. |
Quote of the day: Another great day on the trip of life. Mark |
