         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

May 18, 2010:  You might remember from the previous episode of this serial thriller with Mark and Paula Persons, that the dynamic duo was just entering St. Ignace,(saint ig'-nas) Michigan.  They pulled into the Colonial House Inn on State Street facing lake Huron. 

The inn was built in the 1830s and expanded in 1860.  That was before the American Civil War and harkens back to the time of President Abraham Lincoln.  No, Lincoln never slept here, but it is that old.

That night, sunset on the Lake Michigan side of the Mackanac Bridge looked very interesting.

Later, it got even more interesting as the moon shown over the dying light of sunset.  Also seen in the photo is the planet Venus about half way up and just to the right of center.

The Mackinac Bridge looked great in the night with its lights reflecting off the calm water.

May 19, 2010:  In the morning, a ferry boat came to pick up Mark and Paula just across the street from the Inn.

The pilot was very experienced and was determined to take us somewhere.
