May 15, 2010:  We (Mark and Paula) were in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for a wedding.  I think....it is down this street/lane.

The wedding "get away" car was a 1929 Lincoln that had been meticulously restored by a local collector.  We couldn't pass up the opportunity to get our photo taken with this truly vintage car.  It has a V-8 engine and a top speed of 45 miles per hour.  A real hot-rod in its time.  It had a "Just Married" sign on the back too.

A wedding reception for Thomas and Laura was held at the Kellogg House.  This mansion was built in the 1920's by breakfast cereal maker W. K. Kellogg.

The house and estate is on Gull Lake, Michigan, similar in stature to Gull Lake in Minnesota.  With the mansion in the background, a sundial tells time near the lake, but has problems with daylight savings time.
