St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2010: Josie the cat was resting in the sunshine on green chair near a window on the south side of Gilbert Lodge. |
That evening, Mark's mother June joined Paula and Mark at American Legion Post 255 in Brainerd, MN. June enjoyed green beer and they ate corned beef and cabbage. Great stuff. There are just two kinds of people in this world....those who are Irish and those who wish they were! Irish story: Pat was on his death bed and Mike was there. Pat said, "I have a bottle of fine Irish whiskey...will you pour it over me grave after I'm gone?" Mike said, "Sure Pat, but do you mind if I filter it through me kidneys first?" |
June received the long form of the 2010 Census. Mark and Paula helped her fill it out. There were some difficult questions to answer. They included: Does the light go out in your refrigerator when you close the door? Was Einstein right with his Theory of Relativity? |
Quote of the day: St. Patrick's Day comes but once a year. Mark |
