         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

September 18, 2009:  Mark and Paula visited Andy and Carmel Hammre just southeast of Brainerd.  Andy is a long time air personality at KUAL Radio in Brainerd, MN.  KULO is a part of the WJJY Radio group. 

The Hammres are horse people and this was a great opportunity to learn something about horses.  As we found out, riding a horse is a learned experience and they were good teachers. 

Mark is riding Mahler and Paula is on Tucker.  I suspect we will be singing "Home on the Range" soon.

The Hammre's daughter Hanna is very good on horses too.

Here is Paula on the trail with Tucker.  The orange vest is used because hunting season has started.

Back at the ranch, Paula is feeding Tucker some apples under the watchful eyes of Andy and Carmel.

Our thanks to the Hammers for a great day with the horses.
