August 16, 2009:  Best to start off the day with a good breakfast including fresh raspberries from the Gilbert Lodge estate. 

Out on the Gilbert Lake, Karen Engen and crew were spotted having a great time. 

Fishermen were out too trying their luck.

At dinner time, Paula cooked her special sweet potato fries from locally grown sweet potatoes.  

They went great with shish-k-bob done over the natural gas grill on the Promenade Deck at Gilbert Lodge. 

You can't have a meal like that without cherry ice cream with chocolate syrup. 

The sunset was terrific over Gilbert Lake.
