The stockings were hung on the Grand Stairway with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

December 19, 2009: Paul Hirst and his wife Teresa joined Paula and Mark at Prairie Bay Restaurant in Baxter, MN, for an evening meal. The restaurant offered an Alaskan Dinner special. The menu:
Hearty Reindeer and Roasted
Root Vegetable Stew |
The dessert was a perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. |
