April 25-26, 2008: Another late-spring snow storm left 4 inches of wet snow on the ground. It would have been 8 inches except that 4 inches melted upon arrival. The ice has gone off Gilbert Lake and the snow is a stark contrast to the open lake. That's life in Minnesota. |

April 27, 2008: The skies are clearing, but some of the snow remains. It is not often when Gilbert Lake is ice-free when there is snow on the shore. |

Looking toward the neighbor's place. It won't be long before the docks are put in the lake. |
