December 20, 2008: It started innocently enough as a gathering
of friends at the Last Turn Saloon in downtown Brainerd. Suddenly,
Santa arrived and kissed Paula.

Then, it was off to Winter Wonderland, a display of Christmas season lights at the Northland Arboretum sponsored by Brainerd Sertoma. |

It is an annual fund-raising event for community charities. |
 |
We highly recommend anyone and everyone in the area see the stunning displays at least once each December. These photos show only of a small portion of Winter Wonderland. |

What event would be complete without recognizing the freedom that we enjoy in this country. |

Here is
that good looking couple riding in a sleigh. You have to wonder
about them. Santa...you sleigh me! |
