November 22, 2008: Paula is down on Gilbert Lake, not far from shore, pointing out underwater plants that were frozen into the newly-formed and still thin ice. A few air bubbles are showing too. The lake bottom can be seen as well. The lake ice will not stay clear for long, but will turn white as freezing continues. |
