June 14, 2007 August "Gus" Elletson, from Nott Ltd., stopped by for a visit. He is shown in the front entry of Gilbert Lodge right near the tower and tower monkey. Gus is from Farmington, NM, and was recently licensed as a Ham. His call sign is KE5MDO. We discussed unipole antennas and static dissipaters for broadcast towers. Gus is a great guy and plans to someday move back to Minnesota. |

June 14, 2007 The Irish musical group, Ring of Kerry, performed for the general public at Gregory Park in Brainerd. They played and sang traditional Celtic music. Instruments included accordion, fiddle, guitar, bodhran, and hammered dulcimer.
