(l-r) Notable visitors to Gilbert Lodge include Jim Talbott (WØYA) and Lyle Amundson KØLFV).  The two stand next to the radio tower with "ON-AIR" sign in the entrance. 

Jim is an Electrical Engineer and well known Ham DX-er. 

Lyle worked in industrial electronics at Unisys (Previously Univac & Sperry Univac).

March 25th:  First thunderstorm of the year.

April 3rd:  Late-spring winter-like weather brought 11 inches of snow.

May 13, 2007 

More recent visitors to Gilbert Lodge include Brian KØEOU and his wife Diane from Brainerd.

Brian was a U. S. Air Force F-4 Phantom pilot and just recently retired as a Lutheran minister.  As a Ham Radio Operator, he holds the ARRL #1 Award for making contact with no less than 335 countries.
