April 7, 2006: The ice melted out of Gilbert Lake.

April 8, 2006: The first boat of the season was spotted on Gilbert Lake.

April 10, 2006: Outside air temperature reached 70 Degrees F.

April 18, 2006: First thunderstorm of the year...no problems.

April 23, 2006: The pier(dock) went back into Gilbert Lake.  The Minnow is in dry-dock being outfitted for the summer season.  It should arrive soon.  Meanwhile, Paula "deep diver" Persons was SCUBA diving in the lake.

May 15, 2006: The Minnow arrived and is plying the waters of Gilbert Lake.

Easter bunnies and Easter chocolate on the table.  

Easter, April 16th at Gilbert Lodge.  Mark, Mark's mother June, Paula, Paula's father Chet, and Paula's mother Ione sit down to Easter Dinner in the Grand Dining Room.
