May 17, 2004 A custom railing system, at Gilbert Lodge, is being installed on the deck and stairway leading to it. The railings are square steel tubing. After shop fabrication, they were powder-coat painted in an auto body shop. The main sections were joined on site and then special touch-up paint was used on the welds.
