The first fire in the Grand Fireplace at Gilbert Lodge. With oak wood blazing, Mark and Paula enjoyed a glass of wine

The fireplace stone and custom doors are from Northland Brick and Fireplace in Brainerd.   

Twelve inches of snow made life interesting.  Paula is out clearing it so we can have visitors stop over.   

Paula's Mountain Dulcimer group stopped in to play.  They had a great time around the fireplace.          

Paula is watching a 42 inch Plasma flat screen television in the Gilbert Lodge Great Room.  This HDTV was a gift from older brother Garry Persons.

Paula checks her e-mail on a computer with flat screen monitor in the Gilbert Lodge Library.  The computer is actually in the Tech Room about 40 feet away.  Just the monitor, keyboard, speakers, and mouse are in the Library.  Speaking of mouse, Josie the cat is checking everywhere and can't find a single one.
