The Brainerd City Building Inspector gave his stamp of approval for the construction giving us an Occupancy Permit.  This was a big step because regulations on new homes is greater than ever.  The inspector was very pleased with what he saw and wished us well in our new home.

Randy Aldous, KCØEGE, showed up to install the new business telephone system in the Gilbert Lodge Tech Room.  He is connecting Category 5 data lines to 110 punch blocks. We used Category 5 cable for telephone, computer data, and the alarm system.

It is Moving Day and there is snow on the ground, but the show must go on.  Brad Kinney and Brock of Kinney Moving and Storage showed up early.  They shown unloading a table through the new garage.

The movers had their hands full with the custom desks, which are mighty heavy even when disassembled into four pieces each.  The tops weigh over 100 pounds each.           

Meanwhile, Paula WØHA is checking her e-mail on an e-mail workstation that Mark setup in the shop for the occasion.   It is connected to a Microsoft NT 4.5 Exchange Server in the Tech Room.  E-mail is a big part of what we do.
