Friday, December 13, 2024:
The Aerial Lift Bridge at Duluth, MN, just after sunrise with a fog bank and sea smoke.




 Mark and Paula headed up the north shore of Lake Superior. The lake was open, but there was ice along the shore.




A view to the south toward Duluth. Paula was looking for agates.




Yes, the lake crashes into rocks making smaller ones and sand over time.




A last Look back at Duluth as Mark and Paula depart from the tourist information center on the hill.
