Tuesday, October 15, 2024:

You might have seen it in the skies over Brainerd, it is a parasail with one or two passengers.
The machine has a 130 horse engine with a three-blade propeller.

Pilot Brett Anderson with Mark in the back seat went up for a one-hour ride.

Plenty to see near Gull Lake.

Then they flew over Brainerd International Raceway.

A look at Gilbert Lodge from the air with its distinctive green steel roof.

Downtown Brainerd with its famous concrete water tower.

Baxter with Fleet Farm in the bottom of the photo and Highway 371 going north.

Flying low and casting a shadow over an uninhabited area.

Finally back to Gull Lake before landing at the private airport near Maddens.

Quote of the day:    A colorful photographic afternoon in the fall.  Mark < Back to previous story Ahead to next story
