![]() Friday, August 2, 2024: Mark and Paula headed to Fargo, ND, but stopped in Moorhead, MN, to see the world's largest Dilly Bar. ![]() Then it was off to the Hjemkomst Viking Ship. ![]() ![]() This is a replica of an 8th century Viking ship. It was built in Moorhead and sailed from New York to Norway in 1982, powered by sail. ![]() On the grounds is the Hopperstad Stave Church replica, lovingly construted between 1996 and 2001 by locals. ![]() The tour guide was most helpful. The church is small because worshipers were required to stand for the entire service! ![]() Then Mark and Paula traveled to downtown Fargo. ![]() Paula found an alarm clock radio, but it was too big and loud for her room. ![]() Kids played in downtown where there are street fountains. Great in 80 degree weather. |
