 Monday, May 27, 2024: Memorial Day. Local veterans gathered at the Laurel Street Bridge to throw a wreath in the Mississippi River in honor of those who died at sea.  The Brainerd Area Honor Guard was there with a thee volley salute.  Then the ceremonies continuted at the All Veterans Memorial where Chaplain Rios read a prayer.
