Tuesday, April 12, 2022:  It was Mark's 75th birthday.  He was quoted as saying he didn't think he'd live this long.  It was on this day in 1968 that Mark had just arrived in Vietnam and was sitting on sandbags while awaiting transportation to an Army duty station.  There was no one to celebrate a 21st birthday with.  Mark was also quoted as saying, "You can do these things when you are young and handsome."  He is now a member of the Veterans of Foregn Wars.
