2022: Mark and Paula attended a Hamfest in Buffalo, MN. It is where amateur radio equipment is bought and sold. Interesting "radio hat" on one operator. He was holiding a microhone, ready to transmit. |

good-looking bunch of used gear for communicating world-wide on
shortwaves. Hundreds attend this gathering every year. |

Mark remembered this Hallicrafters radio from the early 1960s. Mark's shirt says, "Zenith Long-Distance Radio." |

Paula is a ham too and spent time instructing others on the hobby. |

There were those who went home happy
with more equipment. |
