found a neighbor has a 1947 Dodge pickup truck. Gosh, that is as old as Mark! Which one looks the best after all these years? Don't answer that one! |

The truck has a 55 horse flat-head 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed
standard transmission. Yes, those were the days when drivers used a clutch and shift lever to change transmission gears. The speedometer goes up to 80 miles per hour too. No seat belts! |

| Mark likes the tilt-up windshield that lets air in during the
summer. Remember, there was no air conditioning back then. This one has two windshield wipers. The one on the passenger side was an option in 1947. |
