Tuesday, September 4, 2018:
There it was, a giant backhoe digging up south 6th Street in Brainerd.
One of Brainerd's water towers is seen in the background. |
Yes, Minnesota has two seasons. They are winter snow and the
summer construction season! |
Meanwhile, Woodcutter Mark was busy chain sawing trees at Gilbert Lodge.
He was wearing a green fatigue uniform top from his days in the U.S. Army back in the late 1960s. It still fits....sort of! Paula says he looks a bit like a stuffed sausage in it now that he is 30 pounds heavier. |
Then it was out on Gilbert Lake with Paula "Gilligan" Persons as
lookout. |
Plenty of water activities on the lake. |
This one is riding a boat wake without
a tow line. |
Quote of the day: The watercraft out there are amazing. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
